RAID S2plus is a new-generation tool designed for the rapid detection, classification, identification and concentration level monitoring of combat toxic substances (CTS) and industrial toxic substances (ITS).
RAID S2plus is a compact instrument that works on the principle of ion mobility spectrometry (IMS), ionization of the gas in the enclosure is produced by a low energy beta source, 63Ni
RAID S2plus provides continuous, real-time detection and monitoring of the presence of hazardous chemicals inside and outside the monitored space by sampling from predefined points. In case of detection of chemical contamination of the monitored space, the product will initialize optical and acoustic warnings.
RAID S2plus can be operated as stand-alone equipment or integrated into a network of detectors. The instrument can also be mounted in vehicles or ships and operated on the move; alternatively it can be installed in critical infrastructures to provide warning and protection.
