The TraceX® Explosives Detection Kit is designed for the identification of explosive substances, with applications in the military, law enforcement and industrial sectors.
With a single swab, the TraceX kit allows users to quickly and easily identify common explosive materials (HMEs) and their precursors.
The kit operates by using a collector to extract compounds from different surfaces.
The collector is then tested for explosive materials by delivering detection chemicals to the collector.
Color change in the kit window indicated the presence of an explosive material.
The TraceX® Explosives Detection Kit detects acid precursors with a pH of 1 and base precursors with a pH greater than 10.
