The FLIR Ranger® HDC MS increases mission effectiveness by providing surveillance through darkness, distance and especially in situations where weather conditions are favorable for illicit activities.
This multi-sensor system integrates long-range thermal imaging, average wave with a variety of powerful daylight sensors and optional laser rangefinder, GPS, digital magnetic compass and automatic video tracker.
The performance of the system makes it possible to read the name inscribed on the hull, or read license plates from distances of up to 15 km.
Integrated haze and thermal turbulence filters penetrate particles and eliminate image distortion caused by atmospheric conditions.
Pan-tilt MWIR HD 1280×720 pan-tilt and visible cameras with powerful continuous zoom telescopes help detect and identify multiple targets at very long distances.
Ranger HDC MS evaluates threats by discerning between nuisance alarms and those requiring border interdiction, coastal surveillance or law enforcement surveillance.
As well as increasing mission effectiveness in bad weather, it also helps forces act faster, has a long service life and advanced cyber protection.
