Radiation spectrometric detector (RID)

The identiFINDER® R400 is the most popular and widely used radiation detection and radionuclide identification equipment globally. At nearly half the weight and size of other RID detectors on the market, the R400 helps operators feel comfortable using the instrument even in hazardous and stressful environments. The R400 portable spectrometer is used to detect, quickly locate, measure and identify the source of radioactive materials.

Like other products in the identiFINDER R series, the R400 has integrated Bluetooth® interface, web server, and GPS technology and produces fast audible, visible, and tactile alerts that accelerate response measures. The common operating interface reduces training time and costs while increasing operator confidence and interoperability between agencies using FLIR products.
