The apparatus has been designed for the rapid and accurate identification of unknown chemical substances, as well as for quality control of known substances.

The 1064Defender spectrometer is a portable, compact and rugged instrument that works on the principle of Raman spectrometry. The instrument has no radioactive ionization sources.

The instrument performs real-time measurements, performs identification and is ready for a new measurement within tens of seconds.

The 1064Defender spectrometer can determine a wide range of compounds, depending on the spectrum libraries preloaded in the instrument memory.

With Raman technology, detection is achieved without the instrument coming into direct contact with the sample, being able to identify compounds by direct reading from the glass container or transparent plastic packaging. With Raman technology, the instrument can also measure by direct contact with the sample.

Applications:
Identification of unknown chemicals of all classes (narcotics, precursors, masking agents, industrial toxicants and other chemicals) that are in the spectra libraries of the instrument; realizes direct identification of compounds in mixtures.
